Vehicle camera systems
Our vehicle camera system comprises between one and four overt or covert cameras mounted inside and/or outside the vehicle, be it a car, bakkie, truck, bus etc., in order to provide a view of the activities taking place inside and/or outside the vehicle, as well as keeping an eye on the load area in the case of a bakkie or truck.
This system allows you to monitor and record everything going on in and around your vehicle in order to safeguard your assets and to gather the necessary evidence in the event of any kind of misconduct or accident.
Typical applications include:
Monitoring the interior of the cab in order to record the unauthorised carrying of passengers, transactions between the occupants, possibly relating to drugs or the exchange of money for stolen goods.
Monitoring the fuel filler cap to record incidents of theft of fuel from the vehicle.
Monitoring of the load area and, in the case of an enclosed truck, the area outside the rear doors in order to record movement of goods in and out of the vehicle and to identify possible theft or other unauthorised activity.
Monitoring of bus passengers to record misbehaviour.
Monitoring of the roadway ahead of and behind the vehicle to record possible bad driving and to provide evidence in the event of an accident.
Videos are recorded to a standard SD memory card, which provides up to a week's worth of video storage and which can be removed from the vehicle to allow you to play back the recorded video on your PC.
The time and date is overlaid on the video recording so that when viewing the recorded video you can see exactly when each event took place.
The system can also be equipped with an optional microphone to record sound in addition to video and with both GPS and a 3G data link allowing you to track the vehicle in real time and to view video from the cameras while the vehicle is on the road.
The applications are almost limitless and we are able to customise systems to suit just about any possible need.
